New Dallas High Availability Data Center

 

Dallas, TX (August 8, 2008) - iland Internet Solutions announced the opening of their newest High Availability data center at 8435 Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, Texas. This data center allows iland to provide a full suite of hosting and IP solutions, including their High Availability Hosted VMware platform. This secure facility is one of many facilities planned for the United States and Europe, including Atlanta, New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and London UK. 

 

Driven by strong demand for virtualization within data center environments, iland opened their Houston High Availability data center in July 2008.  iland’s fully redundant infrastructure is built in a VMware VI Enterprise environment on a VMware ESX platform, offering redundancy at the hardware, network, and data center levels.

 

By utilizing proven VMware technology, iland’s VMware, Cisco, and Microsoft certified experts have shown organizations of all sizes a secure way to streamline their data center environment, reducing operating costs including space, power and equipment.  With both the Dallas and Houston facilities operational, iland is now able to provide a full range of virtualized solutions, as well as cost-effective disaster recovery services, with full failover options from data center to data center.
