Info-Tech Research Group Positions iland as a Champion

Info-Tech Research Group evaluated 15 companies in the IaaS market and iland was named a Champion in Info-Tech Research Group’s 2012 Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service vendor landscape. In addition iland was named as the recipient of the annual Trend Setter award for its innovative offerings and its work in championing VMware-based IaaS within the industry. iland earned the Champion title primarily as a result of its extensive and impressive data set.

Determining iland's Value Score

The Info-Tech study assessed cloud IaaS vendor capabilities and products. Vendor capabilities were assessed according to viability, strategy, reach and channel. Vendor products were scored on a variety of criteria including features, usability, affordability and architecture.

All vendors were assigned a Value Score. iland received a value score of 83 out of 100, the third highest score awarded to any vendor. The average vendor score in the study was 64 out of 100.

Conclusion

Info-Tech Research Group concluded that iland has leveraged VMware's vCloud to provide innovative IaaS solutions for a growing global client base. It also determined that iland's cloud services offer a comprehensive set of features.

Info-Tech's Trend Setter Award is presented to the most original/inventive solution evaluated.
