The Invision Security system is an automated network threat management solution that enables you to intelligently detect and prevent intrusions and vulnerabilities. There are three core areas that our services focus on:

Network and Vulnerability Discovery
We do continuous network scans and vulnerability assessments for continuous discovery of your topology in order to find new IP addresses, Ports, Operating Systems and new possible vulnerabilities.

We provide you with a GUI that includes a detailed high level representation of the state of your network security, with the ability to quickly drill down on any area of concern.

This methodology will dramatically reduce the risk of your network from being compromised and allows you to show due care for security Regulatory Compliance.

Prevention and Detection
Intrusion Management – as intrusions are detected in real time, our proprietary produced threat management language (SSDL) gives us the unique ability to immediately correlate and analyze all recognized network events. Each event is scored from 1 to 100, to enable you to very quickly take action on real threats automatically. This eliminates false positives by over 90%.

• Also included within the Alert Logic solution is intrusion defense features in three modes. By automating your defense you’ll save time with incident reporting, downtime and potential loss of data.
• Automatically block attackers or attacked hosts of recognized signatures. This mode is most useful from blocking worms and reconnaissance attempts. (Defense)
• Selective blocking of signatures that are determined to be of high threat level after analysis by our intelligent language(SSDL). This may have some false positives.
• Requests for manual blocking based on human analysis from the Invision Security interface.
• Another feature of our solution will allow you to contain intrusions by: (Containment)
• Isolating your hosts within your network to prevent worm infections or compromise from spreading to other areas of your network.

Monitoring Service
We provide 24/7 Human Intelligence by constantly monitoring the appliance for you. We will notify you of just the security incidents that you should be highly concerned. We also continually add new signatures and patches to include any and all upgrades to our technology and overall maintenance. This is a stand-alone service or can be managed in increments of 4 hours, 12 hours or continuously.
