Scalability and redundancy

iland’s IP infrastructure uses high-speed 10 Gigabit redundant IP connections and our entire network comes standard on Enterprise Cisco routers and switches. iland is home to several Tier 1 backbones—our clients receive scalability and redundancy as well as cost-effective backup connectivity options.

Multiple options

Our infrastructure includes intercity and metro private lines, VPN (Virtual Private Network), MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), bandwidth configurations ranging from 1 Mbps to 10 Gbps, with VPN services supporting 100 Mbps, 1 GigE connection with 37 fractional speeds, and Ethernet over MPLS, SONET, and DWDM.

Disaster recovery

Bandwidth levels for replication are critical components of a successful disaster recovery plan. Each hub in the iland Continuity Cloud features a minimum 3Gbps low-latency IP connection through three or more providers, with the ability to move to 10Gbps or more. You’ll also have access to transatlantic replication, allowing you to bridge your North American and EMEA business continuity plans.
